Matt's not in today, so me and Dan spend a light few hours recording the chuggy metal guitar on Human Shield again, but in tune this time, then adding an electic guitar part to Garden of Love, and then revisiting the rock guitar on Black Hole. Since Jim came in the song has become a bit modern and plastic, and the rock guitar sounds a bit conventional. We end up recording a few passes of atonal soloing which Dan chops into small pieces and reassembles. Quite by chance, its new form is an exact recreation of the solo from Stairway to Heaven.
