Is it better to buy it at the show so Matt gets a bigger chunk? Or overall more beneficial to his relationship with the label to pre-order, etc.? I wish I can go to a show! But, he's not coming near me AT ALL. That's Ok, I understand that he did just finish up a U.S tour, sooooo, yeah. Well, the album is great, and i bought it at a Borders, and it wasn't that expensive. : )

Thanks for the info! I did in fact get the album at the show, and a lovely coffee mug as well! It's a nice replacement for the BBC one I blew up in the microwave some weeks back. : P

Hello Addrianne,

Merchandising income is very helpful to artists because it is required to finance Tour costs - so Matt would probably prefer that you get the Album then - along with the promotional T-shirt/Pen/Notebook and small motorised bicycle that are bound to be on sale too!

On the other hand - having heard the album - I might prefer that you get it as early as possible and play it to your mates so that they all buy it too!
